Calum Kippin is a dedicated professional with a passion for community and economic development in North Queensland. Since graduating with a Bachelor of Economics with Honours, his career has spanned a diverse range of roles, from political advisory and economic development positions to providing strategic support to small businesses. In his current role he is responsible for leading a local small business with an annual turnover exceeding $6 million and a team of 20 staff, overseeing operational management and identifying strategic opportunities for future growth. He also provides freelance consulting support, offering industry analysis and communications advice to small businesses and local organisations. As a long-term local, Calum is committed to bringing his diverse experience to helping achieve better outcomes in North Queensland. Calum has sat on many Councils and committees including Chair of Youth Environment Council, Chair of the Australian Future Agro Challenge Committee, Secretary of the Atherton Tablelands Chamber of Commerce, C0-Chair at Start-up and Innovation Tablelands and Treasurer Townsville Community Law.
